Inside the trailer is a hydraulic table that lowers to the ground and allows larger dogs to step right upon the table as the hydraulic lift raises the table and dog to a grooming table height. We don’t have to use anyone’s water or electricity,” Evers added. “We’re a 100-percent self-contained unit so we don’t have to hook up to people’s houses. So we don’t need anything from anybody except their time,” Whitt noted. “We have a generator that powers up the unit. It is equipped with two 50-gallon fresh water and waste water tanks, air conditioning and heating, and its own electric source. The trailer, which she pulls behind a truck to appointments, is fully autonomous. “I decided to take some time off from working and dedicate that time during the rest of my pregnancy to finally achieve my goal of starting my own business.”Įvers saw her dream become a reality at the end of August when her Lickety Split Mobile S’paw customized trailer was delivered and she began setting grooming appointments. “I was no longer the only one in my life I had to take care of and provide for so I made it my mission, with the help of my fiancée Josh Whitt, to secure my family’s future,” she said. ![]() That was the first job I loved and stayed there.”Īfter becoming pregnant with her daughter, Dreamer, who is now seven months old, Evers said that she did some self-reflecting. “I worked some fast food here and there but nothing was really my thing until I worked there. “I couldn’t find a job that I liked,” she explained. “I absolutely fell in love with it - the dogs, all the families.”Įvers elaborated about the time in her life before working at the doggie daycare. “I really fell into my passion while working there,” Evers said. It was over the course of the past five years working as the general manager of a local doggie daycare and pet grooming facility that Evers found her calling. ![]() “Just to give them a chance in life,” Whitt added.
