The drinks are also plant based, substituting dairy with oak milk, coconut whipped cream, almond milk, and other dairy-free alternatives. According to coffee news side, this cafe, located inside of a former bowling alley, repurposed elements from the alley in its design. The Southside is now home to Astroid Cafe, a boutique coffee shop on the 300 block of East Carson Street. The cafe is operated by Pittsburgh’s Beauty Shoppe coworking company, and is located inside of their Terminal office building.
